Moore has owned and operated several successful video production companies ranging from DRTV agencies to editing facilities
to duplication houses. He brings a vast amount of talent and international business experience to the Direct FX team.
In 1985 Moore co-created and co-produced “Amazing Discoveries” with Mike Levey, the host of the show, who became fondly known by
millions of people worldwide as “the sweater man” for his unique and memorable wardrobe selections. Moore and Levey produced well
over 100 “Amazing Discoveries” infomercials with an 80% success ratio. This success ratio is still
unmatched in the Infomercial Industry!
Moore’s may successful “Amazing Discoveries” shows featured a wide variety of products ranging from skin care and fitness
products to automotive and craft products. Moore’s ability to create powerful, demonstration based shows that sell allowed
“Amazing Discoveries” to set the record for the most successful infomercial series in history. “Amazing Discoveries” has been
aired in 80 different countries in 12 languages and currently continues to be aired internationally.
In 1989 along with Stephen Weber, Moore and Levey formed Positive Response Television (PRTV). Led by this experienced team,
PRTV quickly became one of the leaders in the infomercial industry and went public in 1994 with an IPO of $6 a share and
hit a high of $21 a share in 1996, when it became a wholly owned subsidiary of National Media (later known as E4L).
In November of 1999, after completing his contractual commitments to E4L, Moore team up with Tim Jasinski,
one of the infomercial business’s leading producers and directors, to form Direct FX, LLC.
